A growing and dynamic construction consultancy, recognised for their people-focused culture and quality project delivery, is seeking a motivated Assistant Building Surveyor to join their collaborative, hybrid working environment. The role includes measured surveys, CAD drawings, contract administration, party wall matters, and acquisition surveys while providing career progression opportunities to chartership.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake measured surveys and inspections
prepare CAD drawings and specifications
act as Contract Administrator and/or Employer’s Agent
prepare tender documentation and recommendations
lead or assist with planning/building regulation submissions
engage with multidisciplinary project teams
assist in delivering party wall, condition and acquisition surveys
maintain technical understanding of building defects and project operations
Requirements:
Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited or equivalent)
working towards APC or recently enrolled
solid technical foundation across core Building Surveying services
confident communicator with a client-centric approach
ability to take ownership of smaller projects with minimal oversight
motivated to grow into a senior-level position with leadership responsibilities
