Job Description:

A well established multi disciplinary property consultancy are now seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing team. This Assistant Building Surveyor opportunity will provide structured training, practical site exposure and clear progression within building surveying. The Assistant Building Surveyor will support senior building surveyor colleagues in delivering a wide range of building surveying instructions across multiple sectors throughout the UK. This Assistant Building Surveyor role offers involvement in both professional and project led building surveying work from day one.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting with building condition surveys and preparing clear reports for clients
Supporting the preparation of tender documentation including drawings, specifications and schedules of work
Assisting with tender returns, contractor analysis and preparation of JCT contracts
Attending pre contract meetings and supporting project mobilisation
Undertaking site inspections to monitor quality, progress and health and safety compliance
Supporting financial tracking and fee forecasting across projects
Attending client and project meetings
Travelling to sites and client offices as required

Requirements:

A Level qualifications in line with UCAS requirements or predicted grades
A clear interest in Building Surveying
Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
Willingness to undertake a DBS Enhanced check
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
