Job Description

A multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join its London office. This Building Surveyor role sits within an established Building Surveying team, offering exposure across housing, education, commercial, care and health sectors. The Building Surveyor will support project delivery while developing core Building Surveyor skills within a consultancy environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with delivery of housing, education, commercial, care and healthcare projects
  • Undertaking building and condition surveys
  • Supporting retrofit, energy efficiency and sustainability-led instructions
  • Assisting with specifications, reports and technical documentation
  • Supporting contract administration and project delivery
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams across the consultancy

Requirements

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related construction or property discipline
  • 1-2 years’ post-graduate experience
  • Commitment to professional development and working towards APC
  • Experience supporting surveying or project instructions within the UK market
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
