Job Description

A leading consultancy operating across a wide range of sectors including residential, education, sports, mixed-use, office, data centres, hospitality, and public projects is seeking an ambitious Assistant Building Surveyor. The building surveyor will be based in London and will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Conducting building surveys and preparing detailed reports
  • Advising clients on property conditions and recommended actions
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget
  • Managing project documentation, programmes, and budgets
  • Supporting contract administration and project reporting

Requirements

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a relevant property discipline
  • Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
  • Ability to engage with clients and manage relationships effectively
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Awareness of current industry standards, regulations, and construction practices
  • Applications from candidates without construction-related experience will not be considered
