A growing and dynamic construction consultancy who are specialists in their space are seeking a motivated Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team. The role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, including design, tendering, and administration, as well as opportunities for development into a senior-level position.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake measured surveys and inspections
prepare CAD drawings and specifications
act as Contract Administrator and/or Employer’s Agent
prepare tender documentation and recommendations
lead or assist with planning/building regulation submissions
engage with multidisciplinary project teams
assist in delivering party wall, condition and acquisition surveys
maintain technical understanding of building defects and project operations
Requirements:
Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited or equivalent)
working towards APC or recently enrolled
solid technical foundation across core Building Surveying services
confident communicator with a client-centric approach
ability to take ownership of smaller projects with minimal oversight
keen to support and mentor junior staff where appropriate
motivated to grow into a senior-level position with leadership responsibilities
