Due to internal movement, BSS Belfast are recruiting for a new Assistant Branch Manager to join a long-serving, high performing team. With sustained success against their target, the team at BSS Belfast is growing, looking to welcome an enthusiastic and collaborative leader to their team - building on this legacy as the branch itself gains investment to further improve the facilities. You'll be supporting the Branch Manager, with everything from exceeding sales and profit targets to coordinating all aspects of branch operations – admin, stock management, transport, the whole works. Customer service is at the heart of what we do, together with your team you will drive sales, provide product solutions whilst championing our 'Stay Safe' culture and driving first class safety standards across your branch.
Job Responsibility
Supporting the Branch Manager with exceeding sales and profit targets
Coordinating all aspects of branch operations – admin, stock management, transport
Drive sales and provide product solutions
Champion 'Stay Safe' culture and driving first class safety standards across your branch
Lead the day-to-day of branch life, leading colleagues to achieve excellence
Drive daily sales activity and achieve targets to boost profitability
Ensure branch operations run smoothly and efficiently - including fleet of vehicles, tool hire department, and integrated Benchmarx showroom
Drive standards across the branch and create fantastic customer relationships at every opportunity
Confident people leader, capable of motivating and coaching colleagues
Requirements
Relevant experience and ability to motivate and develop teams to succeed
Strong people skills, key for building strong relationships and negotiating successfully
Highly organised and can prioritise tasks with attention to detail
Champion a non-negotiable safety culture and prioritise the wellbeing of your team and customers
Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards at all times
Energetic team player, eager to contribute, and focused on hitting goals
Relevant industry experience will help embed quickly into this role
Confident and successful sales leader in a different, customer-centric industry
