With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we are part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), the largest independent merchant group in the South of England. We’re expanding our team at our Keynsham Branch and are looking for a dependable Assistant Branch Manager to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers. In this role, you will support the day-to-day supervision of the branch team, drive improvements in the customer experience, and contribute to enhancing sales performance. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will play a key part in maximising sales and profitability, while ensuring the efficient management of daily operations.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting customers on the trade counter and telephone as well as helping when needed to load
Working with the Branch Manager on all aspects of branch development and customer service
Stock replenishment from ordering materials to ensuring adequate stock levels
Any other appropriate duties given by the Branch Manager
Supervision of a team of colleagues
Supporting the Branch Manager in the execution of the Sales plan for the branch
Ensuring the safe and efficient management of daily operations
Ensuring all branch activity is centered around the customer and ensuring they have the best possible experience
Provide cover for the Branch Manager when required
