Job Description:

This role will allow you to broaden and strengthen your retail management experience as well as gain access to a raft of career opportunities on offer within Farmlands. We're looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for our Kamo store.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with delivering the strategic plan for the branch
  • Supporting the team to achieve financial, as well as health and safety targets
  • Role modelling superior customer service and merchandising to the team
  • Having a growth mindset and living the Farmlands vision and purpose
  • Supporting the Branch Manager to recruit and induct new staff members
  • Lead day to day in-store activity to deliver targets, consistency of branch standards and team capability requirements

Requirements:

  • Leadership skills
  • Mentoring skills
  • Customer facing background
  • Knowledge of retail/commercial operational processes
  • Experience in the agricultural sector (ideal)
  • Sound computer skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems easily
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand
