Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Branch Manager to join our team in Long Whatton, Loughborough. As Assistant Branch Manager you will work closely and assist the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the site branch. You will assist the supervision of trade counter and yard-based colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work closely and assist the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the site branch
  • Assist the supervision of trade counter and yard-based colleagues
  • Oversee and supervise all aspects of branch activity as required
  • Ensure cohesion between on-site internal and external departments to keep the branch fully functional and operating to optimum levels
  • Ensuring all employees adhere to best practices, company policies and guidelines
  • Monitoring overall customer service levels
  • Monitoring and maintaining a safe and secure site at all times
  • Evaluating employee performance and training requirements
  • HR matters and personnel related admin

Requirements:

  • Management or supervisory experience
  • Good literate and numerate ability
  • Proven organisational skills and experience
  • Timber and full Product knowledge
  • Leadership and organisational skills
  • Merchant experience
