The Assistant Bar Manger supports the management and daily operations of the hotel’s bars, lounges, and rooftop outlets, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional beverage experience aligned with Four Seasons’ standards of service, quality, and innovation. In this role, you will assist in supervising daily bar operations, support the implementation of beverage programs, contribute to menu development, and help foster a positive and engaging team environment. Working closely with the Director of Bars, Director of Food & Beverage, and culinary teams, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Support the daily operations of Bar Dandolo
Assist in the development and execution of beverage menus, signature cocktails, and spirit programs
Monitor stock levels, support inventory processes, and contribute to cost control and purchasing activities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards
Support training, coaching, and supervision of bar staff, contributing to team engagement and development
Maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring a high level of personalized service and guest satisfaction
Collaborate with the Director of Bars and F&B leadership to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within bar operations, ideally in luxury hotels or high-end venues
Good knowledge of wines, spirits, mixology, and cocktail preparation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset
Ability to support team development and contribute to a positive working environment
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and adaptability
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Beverage Management, or equivalent experience is preferred
Passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest experiences
You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian
