Job Description:

Assistant Banquet Manager position at W Brisbane, responsible for leading banquet operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences through the Whatever/Whenever service philosophy. The role involves managing events, coordinating with culinary and sales teams, and maintaining W Hotels' standards of luxury service.

Job Responsibility:

Assist with leading the Banquets team with preparation, management, and execution of events
Personally assist all guests by delivering Whatever/Whenever service promise
Coordinate with Banquet Culinary team and Catering & Events Sales team
Identify training opportunities and assist in training Talent according to W standards
Lead the team to be their best every day and maintain positive work culture

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt and work well under pressure
Understanding of financial controls and administrative responsibilities
Experience in Food & Beverage operations
Leadership skills to manage and train teams

Nice to have:

Passionate and driven attitude
Operational leadership experience
Experience in catering and events
