Job Responsibility:
Oversee all operations of the Banquet Department
Partner effectively with other departments to ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction
Provide supervisory guidance, reinforce training, and initiate disciplinary action when needed
Make suggestions and recommendations for all matters pertaining to associates such as hiring, performance, change of employment status
Oversee Banquet personnel and direct and assist the Banquet staff in room set up and breakdown for all banquet activities
Ensure all equipment is set up correctly and inspect room for accuracy, cleanliness, attractiveness and proper layout
Maintain a high level of service quality and ensure 100% customer satisfaction
Ensure complete guest satisfaction regarding functions beginning on time, introducing self to guests, and communicating with guests to follow through with special requests
Assist with training and onboarding of all Banquet associates
Direct and control all activity in the banquet department during shift
Ensure all meeting rooms are clean, organized and set up for events according to BEO(s)
Participate in the hotel’s Manager-on-Duty program
Requirements:
Excellent organizational & communication skills
Strong proficiency in multi-tasking
Hospitality operations experience essential
Dedicated and self-motivated
Willing to work together to maintain high standards of customer service
