Job Description

The Department of Surgery, School of Medicine at Stanford University, is seeking to fill two full-time academic positions, one in the Divisions of Vascular Surgery in conjunction with the Cardiovascular Institute, and one in the Division of Abdominal Transplantation in conjunction with the Institute for Immunity, Transplantation and Infection.

Job Responsibility

  • Mix of scholarly activity, teaching, and, if appropriate, clinical care
  • For UTL: major commitment to research and teaching
  • For NTL-R: high-level performance as a researcher
  • For UML: excellence in clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service

Requirements

  • Record or interest in cross-disciplinary collaborative translational research
  • Completed postdoctoral training with a PhD, MD/PhD, or MD degree
  • Substantial record of scholarly activity with current extramural funding or high likelihood of securing extramural funding
