Job Description

Outstanding opportunity to join a global California based company, which has been providing adhesive dispensing solutions worldwide for over 52 years. Techcon Systems manufactures products ranging from disposable fluid dispensing components to equipment used across multiple industries. We are seeking to expand the sales team for our Asia operation. The Assistant Application Engineer will be reporting directly to the Application Engineer in China. The applicant will need to have strong technical ability and can work independently with minimal supervision. This position is based in the Shenzhen, China office and requires up to minimum 30% overnight travel.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct application testing in the laboratory to demonstrate the functions of our dispensing machine equipment to customers, and provide detailed test data to the application engineer
  • Assist to provide ongoing support to the regional sales manager to retain key clients, collaborate with the sales team, deeply understand customer needs, and formulate technical support strategies
  • Assist to effectively plan and execute technical support and demonstrations at customer sites to ensure the effective application of products at the client end
  • Assist the application engineer to support the regional sales manager in obtaining company approval for potential key clients
  • Assist in participating in exhibitions and various regional industry association activities
  • Assist the application engineer in conducting product training for the sales team and channel partners
  • Always work professionally in accordance with company regulations to maximize customer satisfaction and exceed customer expectations whenever possible
  • Other tasks assigned by superiors

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience preferred
  • Excellent recent graduates interested in application technical support are also welcome
  • Fluid dispensing machine or other electronic machinery industry experience preferred
  • Strong Technical background and hands-on skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to handle work pressure, is able to meet deadlines, well organized, and sound judgment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, enjoy communicating with customers, have a good customer service mindset, and be eager to learn
  • Analytical thinking, a teamwork spirit, and a willingness to support the company's long-term development are essential
  • Must be willing to travel within China and Asia when needed
