This role focuses on executing, architecting, and scaling autonomous, agentic workflows for Unilever’s dynamic business landscape, supporting digital transformation initiatives across supply chain, marketing, and consumer engagement. The position requires deep technical contribution, strong solution architecture grounding, and proficiency in Google Cloud's Gen AI stack (Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder) within a Hyperautomation context, all tailored to Unilever’s global scale and sustainability-driven goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical Execution & Solution Architecture: Contribute to the technical design and support the architecture of hyperautomation solutions, focusing on the build and scaling of Agentic AI workflows, RAG systems, and multi-agent orchestration on GCP
  • Champion the adoption of technical standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices
  • Execute and document the technical integration of Gen AI solutions with core enterprise systems using modern API, event-driven, and microservices architectures
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews, debugging complex issues, and ensuring adherence to high-quality code standards
  • Team & Project Coordination: Provide guidance, technical support, and mentorship to Software Engineers and Automation Developers
  • Support in managing the execution of the HAP team's roadmap, tracking progress against milestones
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Generative AI & Google Cloud Focus: Assist in the implementation and operation of GenAIOps pipelines using Vertex AI Pipelines
  • Conduct detailed analysis of cloud resource usage for AI workloads on GCP
  • Implement and run model evaluation (EVAL) frameworks to validate agent performance
  • Leverage and apply Google AI tools to build effective hyperautomation solutions
  • Stakeholder Communication & Analysis: Work closely with Product Managers and business analysts to break down complex business requirements into clear, executable technical tasks
  • Facilitate communication and synchronization between the engineering team and dependent teams
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation for solution designs, API specifications, and operational playbooks

Requirements:

  • Highly technical Google Cloud Gen AI/Hyperautomation expert
  • Deep technical contribution and strong solution architecture grounding
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud's Gen AI stack (Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder) within a Hyperautomation context
  • Experience in architecting and implementing Agentic AI, RAG systems, and multi-agent orchestration on GCP
  • Experience implementing LLMOps pipelines using Vertex AI for automated testing, monitoring, and versioning of models and prompts
  • Experience ensuring high code quality, conducting rigorous reviews, and executing system integration with enterprise systems using modern APIs and event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub)
  • Experience with cost optimization of AI and Generative AI solutions for scale
  • Ability to provide technical mentorship, support roadmap execution, and translate complex business requirements into technical tasks
