Assistant Actuarial Manager

• Support the preparation and submission of statutory returns, financial disclosures, and other IA-mandated filings
• Ensure adherence to IFRS 17, HKRBC, GL34 and other regulatory frameworks
• Support the Head of Regulatory Reporting in responding to queries by the regulators on reporting matters
• Implement efficient workflows to streamline reporting processes, reducing manual effort and risk
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT teams to align data inputs and reporting outputs
• Maintain comprehensive process documentation and implement improvements based on lessons learned
• Proactively identify and mitigate reporting risks

• A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with HK insurance regulatory frameworks and financial reporting standards is a plus
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and regulatory requirements
• Ability to identify trends and discrepancies in data
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings clearly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Knowledge of L400 and GCP is plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to approach challenges logically and develop practical solutions to ensure compliance and improve reporting processes
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
