Assistant Accountant

• Prepare and process financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Support the team with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Work collaboratively with other departments to manage financial data
• Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance function

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes
• Sage 50 experience is beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred
