Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline. This is a Full-Time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary up to £28,000 depending on experience plus an excellent range of company benefits. You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team
  • Complete day-to-day accounts
  • Complete forecasts
  • Complete estimates
  • Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
  • Complete payroll
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations
  • Complete accruals and prepayments
  • Complete cash flow
  • Complete reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
  • Complete credit control

Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
  • Good organisational Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system (ideal but not essential)
  • Previous Motor Trade experience (ideal but not essential)
