Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about accountancy and eager to develop their career in a supportive and structured environment. Job Responsibility:

Bookkeeping & Data Processing
Processing and reconciling bank statements, sales, purchases, and nominal ledgers
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
Maintaining accurate and current financial records for clients
Responding to client queries related to bookkeeping
Accounts Production
Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assisting with year-end procedures alongside senior accountants
Preparing working papers and supporting documentation
Personal Tax
Assisting in the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns
Gaining insight into various income streams, expenses, and tax reliefs
Organising and reviewing client tax data
Understanding basic compliance for personal taxation
Corporate Tax
Supporting the creation of corporation tax computations and returns
Learning about corporate tax compliance requirements
Conducting research into tax legislation and HMRC guidance

Study Support: Provided (AAT/ACCA/ACA)
