This Medical Specialist Group is devoted to high standard medical management and have a reputation for offering highest quality outcomes for their patients through a range of procedures. They now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

Handle end‑to‑end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, 3‑way matching and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records through strong double‑entry accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
Support month‑end processes, including journals and accruals
Assist with broader transactional finance tasks when needed
Prepare supplier payment runs, reconcile AP to supplier statements, and respond to supplier queries promptly
Investigate and resolve AP and bank discrepancies, including coding sundry bank transactions

Requirements:

Experienced in Accounts Payable and transactional accounting, with the ability to hit the ground running
Confident working with double‑entry accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end processes
Comfortable managing invoice validation, supplier communication, and payment scheduling
Strong attention to detail with a process‑driven, deadline‑focused approach
Advanced MS Excel user (X and V Lookups)
Experience with ERP systems
Based in Auckland and have full working rights

Nice to have:

Experience with ERP systems, bonus if you have used Business Central
