Assistant Accountant/Senior Finance Executive

• Cost Control and Analysis: Monitor and analyze costs associated with freight, overtime, transport, inventory, and third-party logistics providers. Identify areas of potential cost savings and implement strategies to reduce expenses
• Inventory Accounting: Oversee the accounting for inventory, including the valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions
• Taxation: Timely and accurately filling of tax returns - SVAT, VAT, APIT, WHT, Stamp Duty etc
• Accounting and Budgeting : Assist in the preparation of accounts, budgets and forecasts, with a particular focus on costs related to freight, transport, inventory, and third-party logistics providers
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in the factory's operating and accounting procedures

• Part qualification in CA/ACCA/CIMA and Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a reputed audit firm with few years of industry experience
• Experience in export and BOI environment is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in the apparel manufacturing industry is a bonus
