  • Craft creative and engaging posts based on media placements and client initiatives
  • Draft thought leadership content on topics such as intellectual property, financial planning, tax policy, and market trends
  • Research & Intelligence Gathering: Conduct competitive and industry research to support client positioning
  • Create briefing documents on journalists, organizations, and speaking opportunities
  • Analyze tone and editorial voice for targeted publications
  • Compile deep-dive reports on companies or sectors (e.g., renewable energy investors in California)
  • Client Support: Assist with internal meeting prep, including setting agendas and organizing notes
  • Provide behind-the-scenes support on client deliverables
  • Help manage content calendars and reporting documents
  • Collaborate with team members on strategy development and execution

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in media research tools and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with PR and marketing tools such as HubSpot, Meltwater, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Tenacious and proactive — follows up without being prompted and enjoys solving problems independently
