Job Description

For Arrow Global Supply Chain , we are currently looking for an Asset Specialist. Arrow Global Supply Chain System Builder is a division of Arrow Electronics that manages , high-volume global supply chains for large System Integrator and suppliers. In the role as Asset Specialist, you will be part of our global organization with coverage all EMEA market . As an Asset specialist, you are our main interface to our suppliers, and you ensure that we deliver goods timely and accurately to our supply chain customers with time critical needs. In this role, you will be involved in resolving issues quickly and effectively to meet customer needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Place supplier purchase orders to meet customer forecast and order demand
  • Manage supplier backlog which include push, pull, cancellations
  • Communicate with the suppliers regarding the supply situation and share it with sales team
  • Manage escalations with suppliers
  • Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies
  • Initiate new part creation
  • Ensure supplier performance and manage clear communication
  • Maintain system parameters of purchasing and supplier
  • Take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions
  • Attending meetings with suppliers
  • Be a point of contact between RMA and suppliers, when is needed

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Self-Starter and Team Player
  • Ability to work and think independently
  • High level of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
  • Superior organizational, resourcefulness, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, also in English
  • Proven track record of strong work ethic and customer service
  • Expert organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Has experience working in ERP systems (Oracle would be an advantage) and preferably has experience of Global purchasing in a commodity/fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a challenging and multicultural environment
