Job Responsibility

  • Place supplier purchase orders to meet customer forecast and order demand
  • Manage supplier backlog which include push, pull, cancellations
  • Communicate with the suppliers regarding the supply situation
  • Manage escalations with suppliers
  • Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies
  • Initiate new part creation
  • Ensure supplier performance and manage clear communication
  • Maintain system parameters of purchasing and supplier
  • Take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions
  • Occasionally participate in meetings with suppliers as required

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Self-Starter and Team Player
  • Ability to work and think independently
  • High level of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
  • Superior organizational, resourcefulness, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, also in English

  • Has experience working in ERP systems (Oracle would be an advantage) and preferably has experience of Global purchasing in a commodity/fast paced environment
