Capital International is looking for a hardworking individual to provide inspirational leadership to the Asset Services team on a 12 month contract, to advance the team training and development of all team members to deliver operational excellence. Our Asset Services team work collaboratively with our colleagues in all areas of the CIL business to ensure our processes meet all relevant internal and regulatory policy and procedural requirements, whilst providing a frictionless and efficient service to our clients and intermediaries.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the delivery of excellent customer service to all clients ensuring a positive and professional experience
Facilitate team meetings and coordinate any cross functional projects
Regularly assess team members’ performance to offer support, coaching and development, while also providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and also addressing any performance issues promptly
Set team and departmental goals so they align with the Group KPR’s
Hire new team members and manage the cross-training of all team members to create operational capacity
Collate Management Information (MI) and conduct quality control checks
Lead a range of Asset Services initiatives and projects designed to enhance efficiency and improve the overall client journey
Manage the operational processes of the team including, but not restricted to, dividends, asset transfers, asset set ups, AML review requests, and corporate actions
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Be the main point of contact for FLA, Internal Audit and external Audit teams, consider recommendations for changes in processes and controls, and drive implementation and training throughout the team based on these recommendations
Manage the adherence, by team members, to internal procedures, regulatory guidelines, and controls to maintain service excellence
Demonstrate an in depth understanding of the departmental risk management framework and ensure the identification of any issues and reporting is completed in line with agreed policy and procedures
Undertake other activities as required, supporting various teams as directed by your line manager
Requirements:
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to listen to all team members concerns and take corrective action where warranted
