The responsibility of the Area Auditor of Asset Protection consists of conducting multiple store audits, internal/external investigations, apprehending suspects who commit shoplifting crimes and completing/submitting necessary reports in a timely manner. The Area Auditor maintains constant communication with store management and stores’ operations team working together to achieve common goals.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct multiple internal store compliance audits in the assigned area, such as Meat receiving, Grocery receiving, front end and Safety audits
Conduct internal and external investigations
Train new AP Detectives in the area of external theft apprehensions
Conduct external theft investigations including working undercover and apprehending suspects committing shoplifting
Complete incident reports and submit to corporate office
Provide training to store management and store team members as needed on loss prevention/Asset Protection initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in loss prevention preferably in a multi-store environment
Must be able to travel within assigned district
Must have a valid/current driver license to operate a motor vehicle
Must be able to submit and successfully pass a criminal background check
Must be at least 18
