Asset Optimization and Planning Specialist, İstanbul | Koç Kariyerim

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing short-term optimization trading strategies (Day Ahead, Intraday and Balancing Power Markets) in coordination with production department and analysing P&L
  • Keep tracking of new legislations and regulations related with the Turkish Power market
  • Conducting agreement processes and correspondence with both public and private sector companies (EPDK, TEİAŞ, EPİAŞ, BOTAŞ & others)
  • Participating in portfolio asset optimization activities
  • Control of EPİAŞ Monthly Settlement Process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Turkish Power Market (preferably in production planning departmant)
  • Knowledge of Turkish Power Market Regulations
  • Experience in optimization and dispatch of natural gas, hydroelectric and wind power plants
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Advanced level of knowledge in MS Office software, preferably knowledge in Azure, PowerBI or PI software
  • Strong teamworking and critical thinking skills
