The role is to lead and deliver the strategic performance of the PRS and BTR assets driving value through active asset management. The business is now driving the operations forward and are looking to strengthen the AM team.
Job Responsibility:
Take full accountability for the performance of an assigned residential portfolio, ensuring delivery against agreed financial and operational KPIs (including income, value, rental growth, occupancy, retention, and cost control)
Lead the preparation, ownership, and delivery of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets
Identify and implement value-add initiatives to enhance asset performance and long-term portfolio value
Set, review, and monitor rental levels, renewals, void strategies, and associated costs in line with business objectives
Prepare and deliver asset-level business plans and asset strategies, regularly reviewing performance against targets and adjusting strategy where required
Undertake regular site visits and asset inspections to inform decision-making and performance optimisation
Deliver ESG initiatives across assets
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective portfolio management
Requirements:
Degree-level education (property-related preferred) or equivalent professional experience
MRICS qualification
Proven experience in direct asset management within a residential or real estate environment
Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and challenge performance data
Experience managing capital expenditure and refurbishment programmes
Good working knowledge of relevant housing legislation and regulatory requirements
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
