iCapital is seeking an experienced professional to join the Asset Manager Solutions EMEA team as Vice President, based in London, to grow and manage iCapital’s GP and Asset Manager relationships, contributing to the development and delivery of iCapital’s international strategy in the region. In this role, the VP will support the business development and relationship management activities of iCapital with a primary focus on Asset Managers in the EMEA region. iCapital’s rapid global expansion creates an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment. This position will be based in London, reporting to a Managing Director and Head of the team based in Zurich.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead as a key contributor to the Asset Manager Solutions team in EMEA in executing the business development strategy for the region with a focus on Asset Managers
  • Manage and support a robust and sustainable pipeline of prospective clients
  • Nurture strong relationships with existing clients, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset and client-first approach
  • Take ownership for contributions to strategic projects and work alongside colleagues in developing and refining the iCapital International offering
  • Create materials to educate clients on iCapital’s solutions and capabilities
  • Provide constant feedback from the field on competitive landscape, investors’ appetite, trends and share with colleagues globally
  • Build strong internal relationships within iCapital and work closely with other teams (Research & Fund Management, Product Development, Enterprise Integration Group, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Technology & Operations, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes and successful long-term client relationships

Requirements:

  • Solid academic credentials with minimum Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in Private Markets/Private Funds in the Asset or Wealth Management industry
  • Ideal candidate will have solid experience in fund structuring, fund platforms, and/or fund selection
  • Adequate exposure to Private Equity and/or other Private Markets asset classes, and an understanding of the distribution model is highly preferred
  • Able project manager and ability to organise and structure a multi-faceted workload with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and seek to align stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly collaborative, and able to think strategically about business opportunities and client management
  • Ability to work independently with a strong appetite to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment, self-motivated, with a hands-on attitude
  • Fluency in English required
