Job Description:

Develop and analyze reports to determine appropriate channel or redeployment opportunities in response to Disposal assets that come out of fleer plan. Makes decisions on disposal timing vs current utilization. Manages transfers from underutilized locations and disposal denials. Suggest additional disposal assets based on specific cat class utilization performance. Review pending equipment replacement vs disposal asset and timing to sell the gear. Must manage relationship with field for this to be a success as we support them. Extend disposal life based off specific scenario in the field. Execute Disposal plan mass new orders coming and planned disposal. 10 years ago this was $200 mill now approaching $2 billion and no signs of slowing. Coordinate with PC’s and Used Equipment Mgrs on retail/Broker sales of disposal assets. Manage process to ensure PO is requested and executed for trades. Well over $100 mill in proceeds this year to manage. Manages delivery to certain trades partners that require us to handle freight. Develops and prepares regularly scheduled weekly and monthly reports to summarize auction and trades activity. Coordinate with Territory Fleet Mrg/Regional Fleet Mg/District Mgmt to include/exclude specific items from their specific offering of disposal assets. Manage Field facing comments in Wynne for product disposal channel. Manage category / class maintenance to ensure we are not selling product we need in other area of the country even if they are a fleet planned disposal asset. Manage the vendor option pricing and maintain current prices in the system for each SKU. Works weekly with AR team to help with resolving problems or making the AR call themselves as we something are closer to the problem. Sheer volume requires this person to constantly being in touch with AR so invoices do not get delayed. Well over 100,000 transactions. Manages relationship with specific Auctions Houses and/or Trade partners for high end results. Manage relationships with vendor Sales Coordinators to ensure orders are processed correctly and timely. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years of fleet investment and procurement experience
  • Extensive proficiency with Excel, Access and Sequel Viewpoint experience required
  • Process orientation and the ability to multi-task and to work within short timelines required
  • Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management throughout the company and must be able to work independently

Nice to have:

  • Equipment Rental industry experience preferred
  • Rental Counter Systems (including data architecture) experience preferred
