Asset Accountant

• Processing and coordinating fixed asset activities such as purchases, sales, transfers, and projects
• Coordinating and performing asset administration activities including vehicle registrations, credit card maintenance, and gas card maintenance
• Overseeing and processing vendor control activities such as vendor set-up, approvals, and tax information
• Auditing various fleet and asset vendor invoices
• Processing various asset management and project costing month-end close and reporting activities
• Managing communications with other departments and external contacts related to credit card and fleet administration
• Participating in the planning, testing, and implementation of development projects
• Completing special projects, analysis, and other administrative tasks

• Possess a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related education OR have two years of relevant work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel
• Highly motivated, self directed, and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
