Are you skilled and experienced in Adult Care? Would you like to pass your knowledge onto the next generation? Would you like support in completing an Assessors qualification and starting a new career as an Assessor in Further Education? This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement.

Job Responsibility

  • Liaising with apprentices and their employers to ensure they each fully understand what the learner needs to complete the apprentice standard
  • Carry out the assessment of practical activities in the workplace
  • Completing developmental knowledge sessions
  • Guide the learner by setting targets to aid completion

Requirements

  • Be qualified to Level 3 (NVQ) in Adult Care
  • Hold Assessors award or IQA award
  • Have relevant recent experience of working within apprenticeships
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of NVQ’s in Adult Care
  • Have the use of a car and a valid UK driving license
