Job Responsibility:
Efficiently uninstall old equipment hardware from transit vehicles
Thoroughly clean and prepare work areas to ensure optimal conditions for new installations
Precisely assemble and install new equipment components onto transit vehicles, adhering to all specifications
Comfortably and safely utilize a variety of tools, including regular hammering, pneumatic tools, and electrical power tools
Provide detailed daily reports on tasks completed, noting any deviations or issues encountered
Strictly maintain compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes throughout every phase of work
Requirements:
Proven experience in assembly, installation, or a similar technical role, preferably within a fast-paced industrial or transit environment
Ability to safely lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 23 KG
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines
A keen eye for detail is crucial for ensuring precision in assembly and installation tasks
Educational background in electronics is highly preferred
6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing & logistics environment
Prior experience in electronic or automobile assembly is strongly preferred
Mechanical experience is acceptable for candidates with a strong technical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout the shift
High level of reliability and commitment to a full-time schedule
