Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Assembly Technician within the Assembly Team, where you will be involved with the manufacture of our electrolyser and skid assemblies. You will be quality focused with a positive approach.

Job Responsibility

  • Work to standard procedures to maintain high quality through-put
  • Ensure required documentation is completed and maintained
  • Perform quality assurance and testing checks
  • Maintain quality standards and reporting of defects
  • Complete machinery pre-use checks and reporting faults where necessary
  • Manage kits effectively, sorting into designated areas whilst adhering to compliance standards
  • Work to and achieve targets
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Bending and forming of stainless-steel tube
  • Prepare and electrofusion weld plastic pipework
  • Adhere to workplace H&S procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas

Requirements

  • 5S in the workplace
  • Experience gained within a production environment
  • Basic PC skills
  • A good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety guidelines
  • Understanding of shop floor policies and procedures
  • Experience of delivering to plan right first time
  • Experience of achieving targets
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
