Job Description:

Accurate, handy, technical insight, and motivated. Do these traits happen to describe you? We want you! Preparation is Key: Without preparation, there is no assembly work! You will start with a number of preparatory tasks, such as greasing, stamping, pressing, screwing, threading, etc. You will collect the necessary parts from the intermediate stock yourself and request additional components using company-specific documentation. You will read the production orders thoroughly and, based on those, determine priorities and organize your work and workstation. From Preparation to Production: After the preparation, you get to work! You will assemble, mount, finish, check, and pack all parts. You will determine the correct assembly method by consulting production drawings. Depending on the parts, you will use machines (screwing, pressing, or packaging machines) and set them up yourself. Being familiar with the use of an electric screwdriver is also a must.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation and Stock Retrieval: Perform initial manual tasks such as greasing, stamping, pressing, and threading while independently pulling necessary components from the intermediate stock
  • Workflow Organization: Read and interpret production orders to determine work priorities and organize your specific workstation and tools
  • Technical Assembly: Assemble, mount, and finish parts according to the specifications found in production drawings
  • Machine Operation and Setup: Independently set up and operate specialized machinery, including screwing, pressing, and packaging machines
  • Manual Tool Usage: Utilize hand tools, specifically electric screwdrivers, for the precision assembly of components
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct thorough checks of all finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects
  • Packaging and Documentation: Pack finished goods for shipment and manage company-specific documentation to request additional parts or track progress

Requirements:

  • Technical Insight: Ability to understand mechanical processes and how components fit together
  • Manual Dexterity: High level of hand-eye coordination for tasks like greasing, stamping, pressing, and threading
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical production drawings and written production orders
  • Equipment Operation: Proficiency in using hand tools (specifically electric screwdrivers) and operating/setting up industrial machinery (presses, screwing, and packaging machines)
  • Language: Good command of Dutch (required for reading internal documentation and orders)
  • Administrative Accuracy: Ability to manage company-specific documentation for inventory and stock retrieval
  • Organizational Skills: Capability to prioritize tasks and organize a workstation independently based on workload
  • Accuracy: Strong attention to detail to ensure quality control during assembly
  • Safety Awareness: A disciplined approach to following safety protocols
  • Proactivity: A "sense of initiative" and a productive, hands-on mindset
