Job Description:

Xometry's Summer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the manufacturing industry. You'll be at the forefront of driving customer satisfaction through providing manufacturing solutions. Job Responsibility:

  • Support assembly operations: Assist with assembling manufactured components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications to ensure fit, function, and quality
  • Rework & repair: Help identify, disassemble, and rework nonconforming parts while following established procedures to meet quality requirements
  • Process & documentation support: Record assembly and rework activities, maintain organized work areas, and collaborate with quality and production teams to improve efficiency and consistency

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship period (June 8 - August 14, 2026)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results
  • Ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to commute to our Lexington, KY or North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week
