Assembler

• Effectively use instructions and schematics, hand tools, equipment, and fixtures to assemble and install parts/hardware for WFE
• Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities, including rework requirements to maintain workflow and production schedules
• Ensure correct part delivery and perform visual inspection of components before installation
• Contribute to audits by conducting visual inspections, verifying checklists, and performing leak checks as needed
• Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, adhering to safety guidelines, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures
• Provide timely clear communication to stakeholders including production status, tasks completed, signoffs, detailed descriptions, continuous improvement ideas, and shift pass downs.

• 1-2 years of mechanical or related assembly experience
• Associates Degree, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering or related field
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment
• Proficiency in computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software
• Proficient use of a variety of hand tools and electronic equipment for assembly and maintenance tasks
• Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks including: moving parts and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
• operating various hand tools, equipment, and fixtures
• Distinguish various wires by color, size, thickness, markings, etc.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment or in semiconductor capital equipment industry is nice to have.
