Job Responsibility:
Fabricate and assemble parts, pieces, and products using various tools and equipment
Emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
Assemble Engine and Powertrain Components: Obtain incoming components and assemble products according to process instructions, performing all necessary gauge verifications
Quality and Productivity: Perform duties to maintain quality and productivity standards
Support Team Objectives: Replace or assist others as needed to meet uptime objectives
Team Participation: Actively participate in the work group and business team
Continuous Improvement: Strive for continual improvement and focus on process optimization
Guidance and Training: Instruct, assist, and direct others as required
Compliance: Ensure compliance with process instructions, PFMEA, and Control Plans
notify group leader of any deviations
Accountability: Accept accountability for achieving goals and planning strategies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift): Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl
Climb using both legs and arms
Head/neck movement
Reach outward or above the shoulder
Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
Repetitive use of hands and fingers
Use of vibrating tools
Exposure to constant and intermittent noise, fumes, smoke and gases, solvents, paint, grease and oils, radiant energy, and slippery surfaces
Must be willing to work any shift
