As an Assembler I, you’ll support the assembly of electrical equipment while learning Power Design’s safety, quality, and workmanship standards. This entry-level role is ideal for someone beginning their career in manufacturing or electrical assembly and looking to grow technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Job Responsibility:
Assemble basic electrical components following drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Safely use hand and power tools
Follow all safety, quality, and workmanship standards
Perform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications
Support senior assemblers and production team members as assigned
Accurately document work by completing production and quality forms
Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment
Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination when working with small components
Identify color-coded wiring where required
Requirements:
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in electrical assembly
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Willingness to learn new skills and accept feedback
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
