Job Description:

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling parts, components, and equipment to meet the quality standards established by Alfa Laval and demanded by our customers. You will have the opportunity to work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity located in Houston-TX.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assemble parts, components, and equipment to meet quality standards
  • Wire standard and non-standard electrical assemblies
  • Pipe standard and non-standard hydraulic assemblies
  • Test completed assemblies to defined Engineering procedures
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks independently
  • Provide feedback for safety, product improvement, ease of operation
  • Promote the 5S culture
  • Receive and follow work instructions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the assembly of mechanical equipment or a similar field
  • Experience with pneumatic and hand tools, basic Engineering drawings, and basic electrical and hydraulic terminology
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Punctuality, reliability, self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment
