Job Responsibility

  • Must possess the desire and ambition to work safely at all times, and report all hazards to their Supervisor immediately
  • Ability to understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Engineering Prints
  • Visually inspect and/or audit units for quality. Discuss quality issues with lead or supervisor to resolve problems.
  • Use a variety of electric and pneumatic hand tools
  • Seek positive solutions to issues and problems
  • Must be able to complete work within takt time
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Maintain a high standard of conduct and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sleeves, etc.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business
  • Experience using basic hand and small power tools including drill, saws, sanders, measuring tape, level, etc.
  • Must be able to read a blueprint
  • Previous manufacturing and/or machinery experience preferred
  • Must be able to communicate and work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills
