Are you looking for a stimulating opportunity in the manufacturing & logistics sector? We are currently recruiting a Component Assembler for a 3 to 6-month temporary mandate, with a strong possibility of extension, for one of our prestigious clients specializing. This role of Component Assembler within the manufacturing & logistics division is ideal for a meticulous individual who wishes to contribute to public safety while developing their technical skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assemble components with precision to manufacture finished emergency lighting products
  • Carefully pack finished products according to established work instructions
  • Perform basic quality checks on each assembled unit
  • Rigorously respect the quality standards of the manufacturing & logistics company
  • Use hand, electric, and compressed air tools safely
  • Maintain the production pace according to the objectives identified by the manufacturing & logistics team
  • Take responsibility for your own actions in accordance with core values of safety and integrity
  • Perform any other related tasks to support manufacturing & logistics operations

Requirements:

  • Excellent manual dexterity and great thoroughness for the assembly of small components
  • Ability to interpret technical assembly drawings
  • Team player with ease in collaborating in a manufacturing & logistics environment
  • Versatility and openness to workstation rotation
  • Ability to maintain a sustained and constant work pace
  • Autonomy in the execution of daily Component Assembler tasks
  • Ability to read and follow complex work instructions
  • Ability to interpret a purchase order and parts lists
  • Basic knowledge of electronic or mechanical components
  • Physical ability to work standing all day
  • Ability to lift loads up to 25-30 lbs (11 - 13 kg)
  • Availability for a schedule from Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM to 3:45 PM) and Friday (7:00 AM to 2:15 PM)
