A client of ours is seeking a Technical Associate to join their equipment shop team in Southeast Calgary. This role is focused on the dismantling and cleaning of specialized machinery to prepare them for installation at various client sites. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a production-line environment and is comfortable using hand and power tools.
Job Responsibility:
Dismantle, clean, and bench approximately 2–4 machines per day to prepare them for client installation
Use various hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, and drills, to disassemble equipment
Work efficiently within a shop environment following a production-line workflow
Safely lift and move equipment of varying weights from carts to sinks and counters
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure production goals are met
The first 2–3 months of this role focus specifically on dismantling and cleaning rather than rebuilding
Requirements:
Proven experience using basic hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc.)
Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting 30–40 lbs alone and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a production-line setting
Reliable transportation to the Southeast Calgary area
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Must own and wear steel-toed shoes
