Job Description

General Assembler 3 for a Medical Device Company. Disinfects devices upon arrival and where necessary assembles and disassembles product preparing devices/accessories for servicing. Works from documented procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, or sketches as defined in the Bard Electronics Quality System.

Job Responsibility

  • Works from documented procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, or sketches
  • Disinfection of returned product from customer locations
  • Must be capable of using protective clothing at various times during the disinfection process per instructions
  • Heavy lifting (100 pounds with assistance) removing product from packaging
  • Data Entry keyboarding skills
  • Assemble components per written instruction
  • Technical competence
  • Fosters Continuous Improvement in training and all other areas of team performance
  • Performs job with minimal supervision
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires the demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend specifications, procedures, and use of hand tools
  • Must be able to successfully pass training requirements of federal or local regulatory programs to the position, if required
  • Must be able to develop skills at an acceptable rate
  • Possess mechanical ability and familiarity with hand tools and facility equipment
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate documentation related to product servicing
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation to support overall team objectives
