Job Description

As an ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) Maintenance Technician, you’ll use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical and controls systems for our ASRS, warehouse, and other department equipment as needed. Make an impact on our processes as you assist the maintenance and controls departments with preventative maintenance optimization and continuous improvement efforts.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain Warehouse and ASRS components with minimal supervision
  • Provide verification and repair services to safety instrumented systems and plant equipment
  • Perform PM checks and report all problems
  • Maintain quality workmanship in the department
  • Complete work orders and use various computer applications including WMS and SAP

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2 years of maintenance related experience OR 2-year Industrial Technology Degree
  • Must be comfortable working with heights
  • Must be comfortable working all shifts including nights and weekends

  • Work with desktop and network engineering and network teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring incidents in the field
  • Resolve escalated service delivery issues and interact regularly with IT customers, including communicating issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders, and support communications to the field regarding service delivery issues
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and communicate results with desktop engineering, network engineering, and service desk teams
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, representing SHC IT in a professional and businesslike manner
  • Oversee all onsite installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, associated peripherals, and related software
