Job Responsibility
Supporting students in lessons and helping them engage positively with their learning
Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resources, and lesson delivery
Delivering pre-planned lessons as a Cover Supervisor when required
Providing encouragement and guidance to help students achieve their potential
Supporting students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs
Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Developing your understanding of classroom practice, behaviour management, and effective teaching strategies
Requirements
Passionate about working with young people and supporting their development
Interested in pursuing a career in teaching or education
Positive, proactive, and eager to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Resilient, adaptable, and confident working with young people
Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
