Job Description:

Oxbridge Graduate – Aspiring Secondary Teacher | Westminster. Are you an Oxbridge graduate with a passion for education and a long-term goal of becoming a secondary school teacher? A high-performing, inclusive Secondary School in the London Borough of Westminster is offering an exceptional opportunity for a talented graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience in a structured and supportive environment. This full-time, term-time only position starts ASAP and is ideal for an Oxbridge graduate eager to build classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training (Schools Direct, PGCE, or salaried routes).

Job Responsibility:

Support a specialist subject department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.)
Work with pupils across KS3-KS5, delivering targeted interventions and enrichment activities
Provide 1:1 support to SEN students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
Assist teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Receive structured training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the year
Play an active role in promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing

Requirements:

2:1 or First-Class Degree from Oxford or Cambridge University
Excellent academic background (AAA at A-Level or equivalent)
Strong subject knowledge and intellectual curiosity
Confident communicator with a passion for learning
Empathetic, patient, and motivated to make a difference
Genuine commitment to a career in teaching
