Job Description:

Oxbridge Graduate – Aspiring Secondary Teacher role in an 'Outstanding' Secondary School located in Barking & Dagenham with a supportive and inclusive environment. Provides hands-on classroom experience, structured training and mentoring aimed at preparing candidates for a career in teaching.

Job Responsibility:

support a specialist subject department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.)
work with pupils across KS3-KS5, delivering targeted interventions and enrichment activities
provide 1:1 support to SEN students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
assist teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
receive structured training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the year
play an active role in promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing

Requirements:

2:1 or First-Class Degree from Oxford or Cambridge University
excellent academic background (AAA at A-Level or equivalent)
strong subject knowledge and intellectual curiosity
confident communicator with a passion for learning
empathetic, patient, and motivated to make a difference
genuine commitment to a career in teaching
