Job Description:

Aspiring Educational Mental Health Practitioner role at an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in Hackney. The school is purpose-built and has created a happy, inclusive and exciting place to learn. The role involves supporting students with various SEN/additional needs and helping develop confident and happy pupils.

Job Responsibility:

Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate)
Working within KS1 and KS2 supporting them in their learning and day to day activities
Supporting children with SEN/Additional needs and tailoring approach based on each child's needs
Supporting the teacher throughout the day
Providing academic and emotional support for children making sure they are comfortable and feel supported

Requirements:

Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree
Childcare related experience working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities)
Ability to be patient, resilient and calm in difficult situations
Genuine passion for teaching or career within children
