Job Description

Aspiring Child Psychologist role supporting pupils with wide variation of needs including Autism (ASD), PMLD, SLD, Speech and Language, SEMH and more. Opportunity to work alongside world-class professionals in an Outstanding graded secondary school in Wandsworth.

Job Responsibility

  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis (ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L and more)
  • Liaising with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
  • Delivering specialist interventions
  • Liaising with the school's therapists

Requirements

  • Psychology Graduate
  • Childcare-related experience, particularly with a SEN focus
  • Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L
  • Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
  • Hardworking and driven individual
  • Future career ambitions to become an Ed Psych, Clin Psych, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner

Nice to have

  • Childcare-related experience with SEN focus
  • Experience supporting children with Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L
